Below are the main options for travelling between the Palma de Mallorca airport and Puerto Pollensa: Public transport: There is a regular bus service from the airport to the Plaça d'Espanya in Palma de Mallorca. This is where the train station and main bus station on the island can be found. The train will only take you as far as Sa Pobla and does not run further north although if you do wish to travel by train there is a bus service between Sa Pobla and Pollensa. The bus and train option from Palma will take approximately 2 hours. There are also buses from the Plaça d'Espanya which travel directly to Puerto Pollensa and Pollensa. The main bus stop in Puerto Pollensa can be found beside the marina.
Coach transfers: The airline you travel with may offer a coach transfer to resort for a small charge. There are also privately owned transfer coach services which are reasonably priced. These companies will normally use hotels as their drop off points and we can inform you as to the nearest hotel to your apartment.
Car Hire: There are a number of large and small car hire companies in Mallorca who operate directly from Palma airport. Some small local firms in Puerto Pollensa can also arrange airport delivery.
Taxi: Taxi's can either be pre-booked or found directly at the airport. We are happy to organise a transfer by taxi for you and your family in a standard vehicle or 5+ people carriers. The benefit of pre-booking a taxi transfer is that the driver will come from Puerto Pollensa and is very familiar with the location of our apartments. There is no additional cost for this service and airport to resort prices on the island are fixed. The cost of a standard 4 passenger vehicle in 2010 was 73€ each way. Our drivers will meet you at the arrivals gate and payment should be made directly to them on arrival at your accommodation. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes.
